Albion District Library Closed Through January 2

Posted on Nov 25, 2020

Due to ongoing roof and mold remediation work, and for the safety of our staff and patrons amid the swiftly-rising rates of COVID-19 in our county and state, the Board of Trustees and library management team have decided to close the library through January 2.

All patron library account expirations and library item due dates have been extended through February 1, 2021. Please hold all return items until the library reopens.

Ebooks and e-audiobooks are available through our OverDrive collection to read on your tablet or smartphone (https://mlc.overdrive.com). Also, all ADL card holders are eligible for reciprocity cards at Homer Public Library and Jackson District Library branches. Bring your ID and ADL card to sign up.

Thank you for your patience and ongoing support during this difficult, challenging time. Every decision is being made with the safety of staff, patrons, and of the building itself at top of mind.

Happy holidays, and best wishes from all of us here at ADL.
Be well, and be safe. We’ll see you in 2021.

Cynthia Stanczak, MLS
Library Director
