Upcoming Programs for Kids and Families
Join us for stories, songs, art-making, and interactive centers that encourage the development of reading, writing, and communication skills. For children ages 2-6 and a parent.
We will provide a light dinner, childcare for younger siblings, and $20 in Albion Bucks to each family that attends. This series is sponsored by a grant from the Albion-Homer United Way.
Free and open to the public, but registration is required. You must register for each event separately.

Tuesday, April 18th from 5:30-7:30 at Kids ‘N’ Stuff Children’s Museum, 301 S. Superior St. in Albion
Join us for a fun evening of bubbly fun, reading, writing, play, songs, and art. For parents and their children ages 2-6. All registered families in attendance will receive a $10 Albion Bucks gift certificate and a free book! We will provide a light dinner and childcare for younger siblings. Free and open to the public, registration is required and space is limited. This event is offered in conjunction with the Albion College Mortar Board Society. . Thank you to Kids ‘N’ Stuff for graciously allowing us to use their facility.

Join us for a fun evening of colorful reading, writing, play, songs, and art. For parents and their children ages 2-6. Raise your children to be lifelong readers by bringing them to storytime at the Library! Come to Pajama Storytime where you and your little one will enjoy stories, songs, snacks, fun, crafts, and more. Attendees can even come dressed in their pajamas! All ages are welcome to attend. For children ages 5 and under and a parent or caregiver. Free and open to the public.

First Saturday of Each Month at 2:00 p.m. in Naomi Lane
An afternoon of building, movies, and snacks? What more can you ask for? Come to Block Party Saturdays at ADL. We will have lots of LEGO® and DUPLO® blocks available so you can build during the film. Best of all, this program is totally free! Open to the public. Children under the age of 6 must be with an adult. Movie License sponsored by Friends of ADL.

Library visits are available, free of charge to daycares, schools, homeschool groups, and other community groups in the area. We are also happy to maintain a presence at any local event where we can meet with families and share our services. Program types vary by age but include storytime visits, family literacy training, database and research instruction, book talks, crafts, and more! Please contact Mrs. Jamie at firstname.lastname@example.org to set up a visit. Bringing a group to the library? If you are coming to research or just want a tour, we can generally accommodate same-day requests.

The Dolly Parton Imagination Library is a program where each month, from the day a child is born until his/her fifth birthday, a carefully selected book arrives in the mail.
