CIRCULATION ASSISTANT (PART-TIME)

Reports to: Head of Circulation
Wage: $12.00/hr., approx. 25-32 hrs per week

Under the general direction of the Circulation Manager, performs a variety of services in support of the circulation function and provides reference and information services. Duties include, but are not limited to: serving the public at the service desks, includes checking library materials in/out, registration of new patrons, providing reference services, assisting patrons in the use of technology and library equipment, and sorting/shelving/shifting library materials, as part of the Circulation team.

This is a part-time, hourly, non-exempt position scheduled for approximately 25-32 hours weekly. Benefits include paid holidays, vacation (after one year), sick leave (after 3 months), paid telehealth and mental health EAP, and optional AFLAC and 457/Roth retirement savings (employee paid).

HEAD OF PUBLIC SERVICES (FULL-TIME)

Reports to: Library Director
Wage: $23.40/hr., approx. 35-40 hrs per week

Albion District Library is seeking a creative, curious, enthusiastic, and service-oriented Head of Public Services. Under the general supervision of the library director, the Head of Public Services designs, promotes, delivers, and evaluates programs for patrons of all ages and interests, with a team of programming assistants. The work schedule includes days, evenings, and rotating Saturdays as scheduled.

This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position scheduled for 35-40 hours per week.
