ADL Remains in Phase 5; Children’s Room & LHR Available by appointment

In response to the continuing pandemic emergency and state and local infection rates, and compliance with current MDHHS and Calhoun County guidance, and MIOSHA emergency rules, Albion District Library remains in Phase 5 of our COVID-19 Preparedness & Response Plan.

Until further notice:

  • Main floor open to the public at 50% capacity. No appointments are needed for visits to the main floor or use the public access computers. Public computer usage is limited to 30 minutes. Patrons are asked to limit their in-library visits to 1 hour.

      Monday & Wednesday, 9:00am-5:00pm
      Tuesday & Thursday, 9:00am-8:00pm
      Saturday, 10:00am-5:00pm
  • Children’s Room and Local History Room are open limited hours and by appointment only, to limit capacity in these smaller spaces. Items and services are also available by hold. Call 517-629-3993 to make an appointment.

    • Local History Room Hours (by Appointment)
      Thursday, 3:00-7:00pm
  • Masks are required for patrons over the age of 2 at this time in all public areas of the library, worn correctly over both the nose and mouth. Accommodation can be provided for those who cannot medically tolerate them. Please ask at the first floor service desk. Free fabric and disposable masks are available upon request, including sizes for children and teens.
  • Curbside services remain available, by appointment. Borrow items, copy and print, send or receive faxes, through our convenient curbside option. Call 517-629-3993 to make an appointment.
  • Please return all items, including media and MeLCat items, in our drop boxes, found behind the library and just inside our Ash Street entrance. Items are quarantined overnight in response to current science-based data on the life of the SARS-CoV-2 virus on surfaces.
