January

Zumba for Kids: Zumbatomic!
Wednesdays, February 1, 8, 15, 22 5 p.m.

Children between the ages of 7 to 12 are invited to visit the Albion District Library for a series of Zumba classes just for kids. The Zumbatomic classes are taught by an instructor from Estillo Activity Center in Marshall, MI. Classes are held Wednesdays at 5 p.m. Registration is required to attend the classes. There will be a demonstration class on Wednesday, January 25, at 5 p.m. To register for this event call 517.629.3993 or visit the Albion District Library.

February

Valentine's Day Drop In Craft
Tuesday, February 14 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Children are invited to the Children's Room to "make and take" a Valentine's Day craft

Construction Zone
Thursday, February 23 4 to 6 p.m.

Children are invited to visit the Library to use their imagination and create with Legos. Creations will then be put on display in the Children's Room.

The Dolly Parton Imagination Library is a program where each month, from the day a child is born until his/her fifth birthday, a carefully selected, hardcover book arrives in the mail. This is not a charity or a social service. It is a free gift to all preschoolers in the community.

We now have over 380 children in the Greater Albion Community signed up for the program and over 200 who have already graduated – children who are or will be ready to read by the time they reach kindergarten.
