Buy dinner at McDonald’s on March 30th (between 5 – 8 PM) and 10% of your meal’s expense is given to the program! Board members of the Albion-Homer United Way and Albion District Library Staff will be on-hand and welcome you to stop by an learn more about the power of early literacy.
And, as an extra-special bonus! Ronald McDonald will be reading stories inside the restaurant. Bring the kids and let them enjoy playing and learning from Ronald McDonald! The Albion District Library’s Family Literacy Project is currently expanding. New events are being held in the community throughout the month and over the next year. Parents with small children are encouraged to join the program and learn the skills they need in order to become their child’s first teachers.
The Albion District Library’s Family Literacy Project is funded by the Albion-Homer United Way, who encourages everyone to see this program’s growth as expanding and improving Albion’s future.
