Introducing Family Literacy Nights at Albion District Library

 

Join us for stories, songs, art-making, and interactive centers that encourage the development of reading, writing, and communication skills.  For parents and their children ages 2-6.  All children must have a parent present to  participate.

 

We will provide childcare for younger siblings and $20 in Albion Bucks to each family that attends.  This series is sponsored by  a grant from the Albion-Homer United Way.

Free and open to the public, but registration is required.  You must register for each event separately.

 


Family Literacy Night: Construction Zone

Tuesday, February 21st from 6:00-7:30 in the Naomi Lane Room

Calling all builders to our construction themed family literacy night. For parents and their children ages 2 through 6. All registered families in attendance will receive a $20 Albion Bucks gift certificate. We will provide a light meal and childcare for younger siblings. Registration is required. Register by stopping by the Children’s Room desk or by visiting our website at www.albionlibrary.org. Space is limited so don’t delay! This event is sponsored by the Albion-Homer United Way.

Tuesday, March 21st from 6:00-7:30 in the Naomi Lane Room

Join us for stories, songs, and activities about wild animals here in Michigan and around the world.  Kids will make a birdfeeder to take home. For parents and their children ages 2 through 6. All registered families in attendance will receive a $20 Albion Bucks gift certificate. We will provide a light meal and childcare for younger siblings. Registration is required.
