The Local History Room is seeking assistance from Albion area veterans of all conflicts and branches of service willing to participate in an oral history project. Interviews are videotaped for the local history archives and edited for broadcast on Educational Access Television (Channel 10). If you are interested in assisting with this project, e-mail the Albion District Library or telephone 517/630-3368 on Tuesday 10 to 2 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday from 3 to 7 p.m. or Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. Join the growing list of participants who have shared their experiences for researchers and future generations. Robert Geyer and Guy Vitale have provided volunteer assistance for this project. The Local History Room has compiled an Honor Roll of local men and women who have war-time service to our country. The list includes soldiers beginning with the Revolutionary War. To add to this resource or for additional information regarding veterans listed, contact the Local History Room or call 517/630/3368.
